Your Safari
Day 1 ARRIVAL - Your guide meets you on arrival at the airport at South Luangwa, or Lower Zambezi and transfers you to your first camp. After a delicious meal and a cup of coffee, settle into your room before departing on your afternoon activity.
Day 1-4 Explore the wilds of South Luangwa or Lower Zambezi with your guide expert guide.
Day 4 Your guide transfers you back to the airport and you catch your departing flight to your next national park destination within Zambia, where you will be met on arrival by your second guide.
Day 4-6 Spend time with your second guide discovering the pristine wilderness and abundant wildlife.
Day 6 DEPARTURE - Your guide will transfer you to the airport for your departing flight to Madagascar.
Day 6 ARRIVAL - You are met on arrival at Diego Suarez or Nosy Be Airport and transferred to Time + Tide Miavana by helicopter. After a welcome drink and orientation you will have an activities consultation to create a customised plan based on your interests, needs and the time of year.
Day 7 Ultimate Robinson Crusoe Adventure - guided nature walk on an island untouched by civilisation, snorkelling in a private cove and a gourmet beach picnic under the palm trees.
Day 8 Lemur Day – take a scenic helicopter flight to the Daraina Lemur Conservation project in search of golden crowned sifakas. Back at the resort, enjoy a guided tour of the Cabinet des Curiosities.
Day 9 Adventures around Nosy Ankao – scuba dive on our house reef, go stand-up paddleboarding right from your villa, visit the lemur forest + enjoy sundowners with 360° views from the colonial era lighthouse.
Day 10 Extraordinary Landscapes - Take a scenic helicopter flight to the iconic tsingy stone forests in Ankarana Nature Reserve, see the incredible wildlife that inhabits the region + end your day at Time + Tide Miavana with a beachside sundowner as the sun sets over the ocean.
Day 11 DEPARTURE - Enjoy a final snorkel by your villa before your helicopter flight back to the airport.
